Musings on life in Lodeve, Languedoc

The Forbidden City

Posted by celiahukins on 25/08/2010

As usual I haven’t been in Lodève for the summer, so can’t write about what it was like there. However according to our renters the weather has been good and they have enjoyed the pool.

In August we had a trip to China – first time for me – and spent a very wet day at the Forbidden City in Beijing. We tried to dodge the rain, investigating various rooms in the corners of the palace and listening to the stories of the emperors and their concubines on the audio guide
We were very impressed by the Terracotta Warriors museum at Xi’an.

We’re looking forward to going back to Lodève this weekend.
